Zakaria Hadraf’s double and goals from Walid El Karti and Ayoub El Kaabi handed the north Africans victory in Stade Mohamed V, Casablanca.
Hadraf opened scoring for the North Africans in the 45th minute, before the home-based Super Eagles were reduced to 10 men, after Peter Eneji picked up a second booking.
Walid El Karti then ensured the Nigerian team had a mountain to climb with the second goal in the 61st minute.
He headed home the second after Ajiboye had parried Ismael Haddad strike to his direction after El Kaabi’s bicycle cycle was denied by the woodwork again.
Hadraf completed his brace in the 64th minute with Kaabi finally registering his name among the goal scorers nine minutes later as Morocco found a fitting way to win the showpiece on home soil.
Hadraf was voted the Man of the Match after the match.
