"It has been a while since I last saw somebody" admits rapper

Falz is the man of the hour right now. The rapper pulled a Beyonce on us and dropped his third album on Friday, October 27, 2017.

Titled '27', Falz is showing why he is one of Nigeria's most outstanding rappers of the moment. His success comes with a lot of hard work and one wonders if Falz has anytime for matters of the heart.

In an exclusive interview with Pulse on Monday, October 30, 2017, the rapper admitted he has not been in a relationship for a while.

"For now no, we are working on it because sometimes I begin to even think whether I have a problem. It has been a while since I last saw somebody, but we are trying to change that," Falz said jokingly.

Now that money is rolling in, has there been any pressure on him to get married?

"When it comes to the issue of marriage you have to look at your surrounding and think about what you are getting into...its not something that you just jump into...i myself I don't feel that I am lonely, I have friends...I have a family that is there for me. It is not compulsory that I rush into marriage, I'm taking my time," he said.

In July 2017, Falz criticized Nigerian singers who promoted Internet fraud in their songs. The public opinion was that Falz was talking to 9ice based off his hit single 'Living Things'.

During his Pulse interview, Falz was asked how he and 9ice met to patch things up. The rapper said he never attacked 9ice in his statement. "That's the problem, that's the misconception a lot of people caught from that brouhaha" said the rapper.

"There wasn't a resolution because there wasn't a dispute in the first place and that's why when I put out the video while I was with 9ice I captioned it "don't get it twisted because there was never a Falz verse 9ice" because there was never actually a Falz verse 9ice, I never attacked 9ice, I never attacked 9ice's songs, it was never about that, it was just a message" he further said.

I made my mother love Patience Ozokwor because she had the impression that she was a wicked woman because of her roles in movies. I made my father love many musicians too.     Sooner than later, Nigerians will understand that the all the crazy things I do are just for the art; I am an actor. I am yet to do most of the things the new artistes do in their videos, yet people still see me as the most terrible person. In other countries, nobody makes an issue out of those things.”

Alvaro Morata claims he would never have left Juventus, had he not been ordered back to Real Madrid in 2016.

Alvaro Morata spent two seasons with Juventus , but the deal which saw him move to Turin from Madrid for €22 million in 2014 included a clause which allowed Los Blancos to sign him back for a fixed sum.
Aware that they would likely sell him on for a profit — which eventually happened this summer — Real Madrid activated that option in 2016, buying him back for a reported €30m in 2016, but Morata says he did not enjoy having to move back to Spain, telling La Gazzetta dello Sport that he would still be a Juve player now if he had been given a choice.

“There were contractual agreements to respect, but the disappointment was enormous — I found myself right back where I had started,” Morata said. “They treated me like the lad that I was before my two years in Italy.

“My two years at Juve were fantastic. I was just a lad when I arrived and I was a real footballer when I left. For a Spaniard, Italy is the best place to live. You’ve got all the beauty, history, art, good food and fashion.

“I would never have left Italy and Juve.”

Manchester United Interested In Signing Real Madrid’s Casemiro

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has told Soccer AM’s Tubes that he would like to manage on the international stage in the future.

He told Sky Sports: “There will be a moment in my career where I would prefer that nature of job, being more analytical and preparing a team inside doors but competes less.

“The experience of living a World Cup or European Championship from the inside is an experience I want to have after so many years I’ve had in football.”

Mourinho has guided United back into the Champions League this season after winning the Europa League in May.

Ciro Immobile apparently laughed when he heard reports that Chelsea were interested in his services.

Barcelona head coach Ernesto Valverde says there was no chance of Kylian Mbappe joining the club.

The young forward joined PSG from Monaco on loan, with the move expected to be made permanent next season.

Mbappe was linked with a number of clubs in the off-season and his manager said he wanted to join Barcelona when he heard Neymar was leaving.

But Valverde insists the club was not keen on bringing him to the club.

“I don’t know what to say to you. There’s always talk about a lot of players,” he told a news conference on Friday.

“To my knowledge, we couldn’t have signed him. But I don’t know, no idea. I guess not, because he’s not here.”

“I am almost done recording my second album”🙌 – Aramide reveals in Exclusive Interview with MpTrace Music

Nigerian afro soul diva Aramide is often described as one Nigerian musician who has taken “the road less traveled” and excelled at it. Her chosen genre of music is one which is not as appreciated as most in Nigeria but she has found a way to stay relevent picking up major awards along the way.

On this exclusive interview with BN Music‘s Michael Olorunsola, Aramide explains how she did all that as well as the creative process that went into making her debut album “Suitcase“. She also explained why she infuses storylines into her music videos.

The Baseline Music act who is also married explains how her marriage factors into her music and the role her husband plays. She also drops a gem at the end. Don’t forget to look out for that.

On her creative process for debut album “Suitcase“

Putting together the Suitcase album was a really exciting and enlightening process for me. My creative process was quite easy, I wrote and recorded the songs over a period of time. I worked with producers like Sizzle Pro, ‘Laitan Dada and Focus Ramon. We did a lot of live recordings with a lot of live instruments. The music was about my life and my experiences in the music industry and I knew that working with these producers will help express them.

When we were ready for the album, the entire team and the record label sat and decided what songs will make the album based on the album title and the theme of the album. It was a lot of work, but I also had fun doing it. I have a personal connection to each and every song on the album so it was really a mix of having fun while having to put in the work too.

On the use of storyline in her music videos

I feel a storyline in a music video brings the lyrics of the song to life and it also kind of gives the audience a sense of what was going on in my mind when I was writing the song. It has always been my thing since my first single “It is Over“. I like to tell stories with my music. Even with my debut album “Suitcase“, every song was a story… Personal or third party.

On how she managed to keep up in the music industry while keeping true to her genre

I would say that hard work and consistency is really what has set me apart. When I started, a lot of people told me to do the sound that was in vogue. I also don’t put myself in a box and I try as much as possible to break new boundaries.

On how she manages to balance marriage with her music career

My husband supports me and has enormous respect for my music. He has also always been a huge inspiration and a backbone to me, so I can proudly say that finding a balance between marriage and my career has been really easy.

On her upcoming projects

Since my last album “Suitcase“, I have been working really hard to keep the ball afloat and as such, I have a few projects I am working on. The prominent one being my new single titled “Jowo”, It was produced by Sizzle Pro, I just wanted to write a feel-good song, and so we came up with “Jowo“. I am also almost done with recording my second album, two songs to go and we will announce the title and date of release.

On the high and low points of her career so far

I am always thankful to God for how far he has brought me. I try not to focus on negativity, I focus on the high points. There have been a lot of high points in my career, like winning best female vocal performer at the 2015 Headies, winning the best female artiste West Africa at the 2016 AFRIMMA but the most prominent one for me was releasing My Debut album “Suitcase“.

On what she would be doing if she was not into music

I would have been a political scientist, contributing my quota to the development of the country.

On her message to the BN Music Community

Real Madrid have reached a verbal agreement to sign Brazil Under-17 international Alan from Palmeiras with the playmaker set to move to the Spanish capital next summer, according to AS.

Alan, who is currently playing at the Under-17 World Cup, would initially link up with Real Madrid’s Castilla side in the Segunda Division B to help him acclimatise to Spanish football.

Alan has a €50m release clause in his contract with Palmeiras but Real Madrid will look to negotiate that down as he is in the final year of his contract.

Alan is an attacking midfield who plays behind the striker and may grow into a very interesting player. However, it’s clear that he will not be capable of helping Madrid’s first team in the near future and this would be an investment for the long term just like Vinicius Junior or Martin Odegaard.

Liverpool will resist offers for James Milner in January as Jurgen Klopp still sees him as a key member of the squad, report the Telegraph.

James Milner could have sought a move last summer as numerous clubs were interested in him but he remains committed to Anfield. Leicester City were the most active in trying to persuade the former Manchester City, Aston Villa, Newcastle and Leeds United man to leave Anfield.

Jurgen Klopp will need to be careful not to take Milner, who is tied to Liverpool to 2019, for granted or else risk him becoming dissatisfied with his role at Liverpool and looking to force a move away in search of more game time.

Kevin De Bruyne believes the Premier League title is being battled for by Manchester City and Manchester United, but admits it could all change.

Manchester City have charged to the top of the table, with seven wins and one draw putting them two points clear at the top.

United are also unbeaten, but have drawn more than De Bruyne and City and are three points ahead of third placed Tottenham.

De Bruyne said it appeared the title battle was between City and United – for now.

“For the moment I think so, but everybody’s still there,” the Belgium international told ESPN FC .

“It’s so early, if you lose two or three games you go back to a [lower] position. We have to maintain this hopefully.”

De Bruyne believes City are producing the types of performances their Spaniard boss wants.

“I think we’re pretty much what he wants,” he said.

“Obviously one game is going [to be] better than the other ones and one time we will look more like his team than another, but I think the way we play is always the same.

“We play dominant football and like to put a lot of pressure on them and if you can do that, it works well. It’s hard to go full pace all the time but at the moment everyone is in great shape.”
